Being the new kid

Starting out on a new platform is always a bit frustrating. You put things up and nobody much notices, because nobody is following you, nobody knows who you are, etc.

That said, I am cautiously optimistic about trying to post stories on Sofurry. It seems to at least have a decent audience of readers, unlike furaffinity, where just getting a handful of view is an accomplishment and favorites, comments, and new followers seem nearly impossible to get.

At nothing else, I like SoFurry's format better. Furaffinity is really packed and busy.

Yes. Furaffinity is also blatantly aimed just at artwork, writing is obviously an afterthought, where it's much more a focus on sofurry. I am trying to not work myself up into a tizzy hoping I get wildly successful shilling my shit there (because no) but it does seem at least better geared towards what I'm doing. Better tagging system too! Gods FAs weird-ass shambling sprawl of labels and tags is such a mess.
