Write Every Day December: Welcome!

I am hosting the Write Every Day challenge for the month of December. So welcome to the new folks following me for that.
For those of you who already follow me but don't know about it, Write Every Day is a low-pressure writing challenge, meant to help you get good writing habits. There is no word minimum and no topic requirements, you can write as much or as little as you like, on whatever subject you like. It is also not a "fail out" challenge, if you miss a day, you can totally check in on any of the following days.
I did it last month when
silveradept was hosting, and missed five or six days at least, but I still think it helped.
I'll be posting once every day (at about this time, if I can) for folks to check in, and will keep a running tally so you can see how you're doing. You can feel free to tell me how many words you wrote and what about, or you can just say that you wrote.
Let's all get some things written in December!

Date: 2019-12-01 08:17 am (UTC)I'm in the middle of a seven-part time travel fic series, with five down, #6 nearly a completed first draft and #7 verrry vaguely outlined. My plan for December is to finish those off and write a couple of Yuletide treats (and maybe something else off my to-write list). Everything is Guardian fanfic atm. *points to icon* :-)
I'm in New Zealand, so a day ahead of most people. Do you mind if I check in for my-todays? I know it can make the tallying a little complicated. (If you are okay with that, I wrote on 1 December: more or less figured out the ending to #6 and started writing it out.)

Date: 2019-12-01 06:04 pm (UTC)If you want to make it a little easier for me to tally you on the right day, you can check in with the date it is for you ("I wrote on Dec 1st" etc.) so I remember which day to put you down for.
Time travel is so fascinating to write! I got really into time loop stories for a while, even wrote one of my own. Being able to go back and change things just changes the rules in such interesting ways.

Date: 2019-12-01 11:00 pm (UTC)I'm in Germany but a total night owl, so my checking in might be all over the place. I've also done NaNo and am now sorting through my various writing projects to see what inspires me most to work at until I get my assignment for My Slashy Valentine later this month, a Tolkien-centric fic exchange which is my main fannish event most years.
By the way, the hosting of January is already covered;
