We went for a walk again. Everything looks completely normal in our neighborhood. I feel a little weird about that, traffic looks like normal too? I don't know, I suppose I'm seeing a bit more people than usual out mowing their lawns for 3pm in a workday, so folks probably are staying home.
Oh! JMS books, my main publisher, is having a stuck at home sale, including a bunch of free books! If you like queer romance, check 'em out.
My short book Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme is included in the event, so right now it's completely free.
Fionn is content enough in his life as one of the Queen's Own, adventurers who go forth to save the kingdom from evil. Johnathan is content enough being a farmer, working the land on the small farm where his family has lived for generations.
When these two meet, they feel an almost instant attraction. Yet Johnathan knows that an elite warrior like Fionn couldn't possibly want to settle down on the farm and make a life with him.
Can Fionn perform the seemingly impossible task of convincing Johnathan his fears are wrong?
(JMS has told authors that overall their sales are up right now, probably because bored people with nothing better to do than read. :3 Dunno if I'll see a personal uptick myself, I can't offer the first of a series free, like some folks are doing, but I'm still pleased. If they do well, overall I do well, and maybe someday it'll get above "beer money" for me.)
