A terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

Today suuuuuuuuuuuuucked. The child was driving me bananas, I did my tax math, and I feel like a complete and inadequate failure at everything about how my business did last year, and just generally it was shitty and bleh.

I did just now get the e-mail with the contents of this week's (my first!) CSA farm box, though. There will be new potatoes! And baby turnips! I utterly adore baby turnips! Also kale, which I have to figure out WTF to do with. I like greens in general, but kale is pretty bottom of the pack for me. Give me chard or spinach any day.

I have had kale in things that I liked, though, so I can probably figure something out with it.

So there's that, at least.

I got my first CSA farm box this month too and it was pretty great.
