So bad it's good cover art.
May. 26th, 2020 09:17 pmI don't like standard romance novel covers much. Not in any serious way. And yet I continue to be kinda delighted by mine. I mean, some is personal fondness because hell, it's my book, but mostly I think they're kinda "so bad it's good."

See what I mean?
In other news, that's a promotional preview there. My next novel, Blood and Fire, will be out on June 20th!!!
Kelwyn Grayson is just one more faceless runaway on the streets of Tower City. Among elves, gnolls, and dragons, one winged boy fades into the background of life in the Eternal Kingdom. But when he cuts the purse of the handsome were-lion Harun Rashid, he finds himself dragged out of the crowd.
Rather than a cell, however, Harun offers a helping hand to set Kelwyn on the road to a respectable, peaceful life...if he could just bring himself to stop flirting shamelessly with Harun, keep his sticky fingers to himself, and avoid bringing the wrath of a powerful, mad vampire down on his head.
But even faced with Kelwyn’s death—or undeath—Harun will not give up on him, and Kelwyn will not give up on finding his way to sharing that peaceful life with Harun. Two men, love, and magic are bound and determined to find their way to their shared dream of a future—and family.
And it has one little change from all my previous books, in that I've gone to the "S." rather than the "Stephanie." I've just hit a point where much as I'm okay with Stephanie in some parts of my life, I'm mostly writing from a gay male perspective in these things, and it feels really uncomfortable to do that (especially the specifically gay trans male ones, though this isn't one of those) as a "Stephanie." So, neutral "S." it is. I went with Stephanie because when I was going to sign a contract for my very first book, the pun of S.Park felt far too silly, but hell, nothing wrong with a little silly. It's memorable, after all! Maybe the name is so bad it's good too, I dunno. :3
