bladesparkI'm trying something a little different this time. All my various subscribers will be getting a link to this post, but having the "newsletters" as a public archive here on my blog seems like a good idea? My only worry is that properly embedding images may get...interesting, lol. My previous go-to method is currently very broken, so I have to learn how to use DW's built-in image hosting for the first time. I think I can do it, though, so buckle up and have some news!

Monster Lovin' book
Conventional publishing is a slow, slow process, but things are ticking along! Edits are finished, layout is done, and now all that remains is cover art and a few final tweaks, then it's off to the printer. The book should be out for Halloween of this year!
It features a slate of 100% monster-centric smut, ranging from mildly creepy non-human masturbation to an ill-advised yet adorable romance between a monster hunter and a Lovecraftian Horror from beyond.
I'll keep you all updated, of course, and my $5 a month subscribers will get a "free" copy, so if you've got the funds to support me, that's a nice little bonus, though I will confess it'll be cheaper to just buy the book when it comes out. <3
Ares devotional book
I am the furthest thing from organized or I would have been spamming you all with this ages ago. For anybody who hasn't noticed, I am a Hellenic Polytheist these days, worshiping several different gods, Ares among them. There's not a lot of material out there for Ares, though, no doubt because the idea of "worshiping war" puts people off. (An aside, I'll note that I am overall anti-war. I follow Ares in a sense that is firstly metaphorical, fighting my personal battles, and secondly revolutionary, fighting against the harmful status quo, and yes including the possibility of violence. From the Black Panthers to the Stonewall riots to the undesireables the Nazis tried to wipe out, the marginalized have always needed to fight to exist, and sometimes that's very literal indeed. There is also the fact that it takes two to tango. If Ukraine stopped fighting, the largest war in the world would end now, and yet should they? Situations like that are where Ares is needed most. imho. Violence can be the best way to resist imperialism.)
In any case, I decided to remedy the lack of Ares content by creating a small book/zine of my own. I'm in the process of responding to the various submissions I've gotten, and will next be doing simple rights contracts and sending out payment, before moving on to editing and formatting.
On the off chance anybody reading this has any art, writing, etc. pertaining to Ares that you might like to submit, drop me a line.
I will, of course, be informing everybody once pre-orders for the book open, sometime later this year.
Still writing fanfiction sometimes
My writing has slowed from a crazy headlong speed to nearly nil, which as far as original stories go is fine, I have a massive backlog that I am still trying to find publishers or other outlets for, but of course the fanfiction always has a home on AO3.
It also, though, always goes out to my paying subscribers first, either via e-mail or on Discord. So they got a chance to read this latest story last week, but now I've put it up on AO3, so you can go have a look.
It's just a bit of shameless smut in the Hadesgame universe, involving Patroclus dominating Ares and Thanatos. If that sounds like fun, have a look here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/47068216.

I have a bunch of digital "zines" up on Itch.io, as you may already know. Here's the latest one, a retelling of the myth of how Hephaestus caught Aphrodite cheating on him with Ares and captured them both in a magical net, though my version of the story is less antagonistic and more of a consensual bondage scene.
You can find that, and quite a few other stories, in my itch store.
Etsy physical zines on sale
Everything in my Etsy store is 20% off for the rest of this week (through Sunday, May 28th) and this includes all my hand-made zines, for those of you who prefer physical copies of things. You can also get my Microcosm zines that way! Have a look here.
P.S. also sex toys
The other thing I sell on Etsy is silicone stuff, including some squishes/stim toys, but mostly sex toys. I make a pretty unique line of plant-and-feline-themed stuff, I think! These are also 20% off to clear out some old stock and make room for a bunch of new things including some new models.
So if you're in the market for a little fantasy silicone, have a peek. I'll blog more about that soon, hopefully, I have neglected keeping this blog up to date on that kind of thing. Partly because I think of this as a place to talk writing, and do long-form essays, not craft updates, but also partly because I'm just disorganized like that. :D
