Apparently somebody filled in yesterday for the regular UPS guy, and couldn't find my house. So today my shinies came! I got a new PYO unicorn, but the real prize was the surprise!
It was a Violet Flame Feldgeling! My personal Holy Grail of Windstone collecting, which I have been begging for since I joined the forums. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! *bounces happily*

I'm going to say this right now.
I hate porn.
I hate alcohol.
I hate addictive drugs.
HATE them. Absolutely despise them. Do not like them, do not ejoy them, do no do them, do not advocate having anything to do with them. I think everybody would find their lives better and brighter and full of more positive and good stuff if they removed all of the above completely from them
Is that clear?
I'll joke about porn. I'll be a designated driver. I'll argue for legalizing some drugs. I'll take part in things like this lj protest, because I believe in the importance of being able to speak freely. But it's a case of "I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend to my death your right to say it." I don't agree. I don't like it. I think that porn is in the same category as alcohol - the effects on everybody tend to be poisonous, and there are some who just can't leave it alone, and so it destroys their lives. And maybe your slashfic isn't as bad as somebody else's lolita, or you think your girlie photos aren't in the same category as somebody else's BDSM collection. Maybe there are gradations, but no matter what the gradation is, if it's going past cheesecake, and into actual sexual content, I'm going to call it porn and hate it.

I will not try and save you from it, or tell you that you can't or shouldn't. If you're an adult, it's your business, not mine. And even if you're not an adult, it's your parent's buisness, not mine. So please don't try and argue with me about how great porn is. That's not why I'm posting this.
I just want to make sure that everybody knows that I although I took part in the strikethrough protests, it is not because of some concern that people weren't getting the porn that they're entitiled to. It was because I want to have lj be a place where people can say whatever they want and not get censored for it.
