Ponies!

Again!

Yay!

I just finished a new pony custom. This was done for a "Summer themed baby swap." Basically make a baby pony custom that has something to do with summer. Heaven knows what I'll be getting in return, but as one of my favorite things about summer is summer thunderstorms, and I once saw a purple storm (the clouds were purple, it was really neat!) and happened to have a purple G3 baby handy, this is what I came up with.

In addition to getting a huge lot of stuff mailed out today, I also prepped baits for the Jordan pony, the Marine pony, and the Syd Barrett pony, which last pony I've now started painting. Ponies!

Happy rainbow hippie fun!

I just got back from the Oregon Country Fair. It's quite possibly the world's biggest hippie-fest. 50,000 people are supposed to attend this year. We didn't spend quite as much time there as I have on previous years, a lot of the booths are the same every year, but even without the booths, I think I could probably spend all day people watching. There are more odd and interesting people there than anywhere else I've been. It's all kinds of fun. I'm considering trying to be a vendor myself. I suspect I could do pretty well with tails, especially rainbow and bright colored ones.

Now this evening I'm off to see the new Harry Potter movie, which I hear is fairly enjoyable.
