Yay!

I just finished a new pony custom. This was done for a "Summer themed baby swap." Basically make a baby pony custom that has something to do with summer. Heaven knows what I'll be getting in return, but as one of my favorite things about summer is summer thunderstorms, and I once saw a purple storm (the clouds were purple, it was really neat!) and happened to have a purple G3 baby handy, this is what I came up with.







In addition to getting a huge lot of stuff mailed out today, I also prepped baits for the Jordan pony, the Marine pony, and the Syd Barrett pony, which last pony I've now started painting. Ponies!

She looks LOVELEY, Sparks! You are stronger than I. XD I've only re-rooted half of one mane and that was enough to tell me I wasn't cut out for the custom business. Keep up the good work!

Oooh, she's awesome! The long trailing tail is wicked! Nifty "lightning" highlights!

Her colours sort of remind me of an absolutely black lone thundercloud I saw once, with blue, orange and fuschia/purple lightning dancing through it (and no, psychoactive substances were not involved! *LOL*).

I have always preferred the babies out of all the ponies out there.

I like the color theme, but that's a really long tail. Does the excessive length have a purpose?

That's how long the hair comes. I generally cut it short, but I just kind of liked it this way on her, so I left it.
