Great Expectations.

Well, I was up till an absurd hour last night reading. I made the mistake of reading a chapter of "Vampire of the Mists" before going to bed, and, well... it was indeed as good as I remembered. Better even! It was just downright amazing. It more than live up to my expectations. And so I had to finish it. I'm starting to keep vampire's hours myself. Anyhow, I just loved the book. I'm so glad it wasn't disappointing. Too bad the author hasn't written much of anything else that I know of. I should go to Amazon and see if she has, hmm... *note to self, go to Amazon later today....*

My other news today is I have a date. Kind of... One of the guys from the Institute of Religion that I always just hung around with called me up and asked if I was doing anything. Now I've always kind of been "one of the guys" over there, and I've done stuff with one or the other of them before, but it was always a "just friends" kind of thing. This feels like a real date, and I'm having somewhat mixed feelings about it. The guy in question is a nice guy, and we have a lot in common, but he's six years older than I am and well, kind of a big guy, if you know what I mean. I'm having a hard time picturing us as a serious couple. Guess I'll just have to go on the date and see what happens. I haven't had the best history with guys in the world, and I don't want this to turn into another disaster.

So that's the deal today. Well, that and cleaning the "mansion" again, it being Saturday.
