Dating dilemmas

bladesparkWell, my date yesterday was a lot of fun. We barbecued with another couple out in the middle of nowhere on a little gas powered grill thing, and then Darryl and I (Darryl being the guy I went with,) went to see a movie. We decided to watch "Spirit," that horse movie, and it was a lot of fun, though I have to say there were some weak spots in the plot, and some awkward spots with the horses not acting anything like horses would act. The movie could have been a realistic movie, with the horses acting like horses, or a completely un-real movie, like the Lion King, with totally human-like horses, but they tried for something somewhere in the middle and it didn't always work. Still I enjoyed it and the background scenery was breathtaking. The artistry of it was just downright amazing! That was the best part about the whole thing.
So, to sum it all up, I had a great date. And Darryl and I had a good conversation. We have a lot of interests in common. We can talk about a lot of the same books and movies and it's a lot of fun. And yet I still don't feel like I could be in a serious relationship with him. So is it leading him on the keep dating him and enjoying his company? Should I start turning him down? I don't know... He's a really nice guy, but between the age thing, the size thing, and the fact the he's only just started being involved in the church again after being away from it a long time I just don't feel like it would work out between us long term. (I'm very serious about my religion, and I just couldn't be in a long-term relationship with somebody who didn't feel the same way.) I just am not sure what to do. I've enjoyed being around him so much lately... *sigh* If it's not one thing it's another, that's for sure. Either I'm totally dateless, or the guys I'm dating are giving me problems. Oh well, guess that's life.
