I should change my little statement about this story having yaoi. David has developed a straightness of character I wasn't expecting, and he informed me that he wasn't going to stand for it.

Poor Aidan is feeling very let down. Though I am consoling him with the thought that at least he gets to ogle David all he wants.

And no, this doesn't mean that David is going to join the voices in my head. Even the plain old story characters occasionally insist on doing things differently, it's just much less common. (Flame also piped up on the subject of her cameo here, and that is getting entirely redone.) Writing is always interesting, for the wrangling and negotiations with the chracters, if for nothing else.

Writing is like a really good RP. Sometimes, the characters just get away on you...

My latest game had my main character decide to get horribly drunk and cheerfully pass out due to boredom when he was supposed to be sneaky. But he got bored. *cough* So much for that.

But yes. Even entirely storylike characters can come up with... interesting quirks...

Totally unrelated to this post, but I just wanted to give you a heads up that I fully plan on buying from you again once I've the cash. :-p [And there's already a ~list~ of what I want to buy from you! ;.; You know.. the skunk tail/ears, the unicorn tail/horn-ears, some dragon wings.. >.>;;]

The legality there is a bit iffy, but it's one of those things, like cosplayers, that even though it's technically illegal, most of the people who own the pictures don't care. Now if this site were /selling/ them, yeah, that would be not terribly good. But there are literally millions of galleries like this out there. I used to spend a LOT of time browsing dragon art, so I've seen a lot of them, and really most artists, with a few exceptions, aren't much bothered by this kind of thing. Most of those pics are old TSR art that you can find absolutely everywhere. I should pass him the artist info on some of these. I recognize quite a few of them. Book cover art mostly.
