I just spent most of the day painting a Lich Lord mini, only to ruin it at the last minute when I decided to freehand a design onto his huge cape.

So annoying. Now I'm not sure if I should paint the cape over, or what...

Edit: repainted cape, it's now plain. I still feel it needs something, but frankly I can't think what I could put on it that I couldn't screw up, and there's no way I'm going to paint that thing a third time over if I do mess it up.

N) Ultima (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultima). Only fiction I knew of with Lich Lords in it. (Meaning that the second choice would be the correct one.) *heads curiously in the direction of the referenced post*

You could paint a border around the cape, like triangles or a small wave design (but considering it's already small...). If he's a Lord, he'd have more complex and detailed clothes.
