Well, I'm still sick, but that can't keep me down today! Today my Old Warrior prototype came. Complete with certificate of authenticity, and little drawing of a dragon by Melody. So gleeful! *poing!

Also, I took photos of the Lich Lord. And am finally finishing JJ's Tulloch mini. But anyhow, photos!

Yes! I think even after the matching ruby I just got (It was cheap!) arrives, this one will still be the pride of the collection. It's just gorgeous.

Nice paint job on the lich.

If a second opinion helps at all with whether or not to decorate his wardrobe, I would personally leave it as is. Looks good with the shadow and highlights.

If you really feel the need to pattern it, maybe try just a border detail?

I decided to just leave it. I'd wanted to give the freehand thing a try, but I think this one's just fine without. It's been sent off to the new owner anyhow, so too late to change!

Is that a really small (and detailed) miniature, or [a/] really large dragon[/s]?

The mini is fairly standard Reaper miniature. (It's about an inch tall... 18mm is the standard scale for these, I believe.)

The dragon, on the other hand, is around 18 inches long.

So... a little from colum A, a little from colum B I think.

Left you a few links in FUR HIDE AND BONE" in responce to your antler hunt. Found a few Caribou on ebay at a decent price. Hope you find them helpful. I'll keep checking. I would give you my caribou, but I already started a project with them :(

Can't say that I've ever made a corvid, no. Closest I've come was doing a gryphon, and that was a long time ago and a rather crummy job.

It'd be fun to try though.
