Ruby lap dragon, you are MINE!

I think I may end up selling the ruby old warrior I just bought. After I've admired it for a suitable length of time, that is. But I have a much cooler prototype old warrior, and now I'll have a superb example of the ruby color in the shape of a ruby lap dragon, and having a ruby old warrior as well seems excessive.

That and I"m not sure how the heck I'll get it into the display cabinet.

But first they have to arrive, so I guess I'll see how I feel about them in person.

Man I wish I could afford Windstones right now. I love the black and gold version of the Lap Dragon. And just about any Old Warrior.

Sadly, a place like Wal-Mart isn't exactly offering deep discount prices on Windstone figures for the financially-challenged yet. ;D

He he he. So sad.

I haunt ebay. There /are/ sometimes very good deals there. Heck right now somebody's selling a ruby lap dragon for $120 buy it now price, and they're usually around $160. (And you can bid $90 and you might get it if nobody else bids...)

Also, I'm waiting eagery for the paint your own dragons. THOSE should be inthe $20-$50 range. Which is much more affordable.

Oh yeah, definitely some good deals compared to the original retail price, but still, I personally have a harder time rationalising spending $100 on non-essentials more than once or twice a year... no matter HOW much I want them. *G* I try not to spend on myself much, especially after a large business-related purchase *grumbles over currently-only-semi-useful laptop*

The PYO price range is indeed a little closer to my budget for such things... though with exchange rate and shipping, I still have to think twice (or thrice) before laying down $75 for an unpainted piece.

I wish I had that kind of money kicking around though just for fun. Although... office décor is a business expense... *cackle cackle!*

But yeah, a lap dragon would be nice. Not so fond of the ruby colour though, I don't think. You know what I want? An Old Warrior (or almost any dragon) in Autumn Leaf. *drool* I lurv that colour a lot. But a PYO dragon will have to do (I love both models, can't decide which I'd prefer).

It'll be interesting to see what they pick as their next new color... A LOT of people have voted for autumn leaf, so you might be in luck. I voted for violet flame though!

I like the violet flame too, so it'd be no skin off my nose if that were chosen. ^_^ I also really like copper mauve.
