Something.
Sep. 5th, 2006 11:22 pmWell, I did something. I figure so long as I do something, even on the days when I feel like not working at all, I'll be okay. Finished Ren's head, except the neck flap, which I may do a little later. (Hey, it's barely past 11, the night is yet young!) I should probably have worked on the feet some, or the bodysuit, but meh. It'll be done in time. And given it's a soft deadline, if I'm a touch late it'll only hurt me because it delays other suits. I do have a few Halloween deadlines I must meet, but that's about it right now.
Got my ruby old warrior today! He's lovely, and much as I like the battle scars on the prototype, the final production version is very nice, I must admit. I was going to sell him, but given that I might be selling Windstones at FurtherConfusion, if I can make all the arrangements, I may keep him until then, so I have one nice, big display piece. I plan mostly in bringing little stuff. Peopel are geared up to spend at conventions, but even then $200 worth of dragon is a lot to buy. I'll have better luck with $60 worth of adorable fledgeling, I think. And maybe a unicorn and pegasus or two. If the gryhlets are out by then, I'll definitely have a bunch of those!
Still bummed about the cat. I've been waiting six years to get a cat, and it was like... well, like finding out Christmas has been put off when you get up Christmas morning. I was all wound up to get a cat, expecting to come home with a cat, bought all the stuff I need for the cat, spent a good hour picking out the perfect cat, filled out all the paperwork, was within minutes of taking the cat, and suddenly I have to wait three whole days! After six years three days should be nothing, but getting so very close and then having to put it off yet again is driving me nuts.
