I have a tracking number for my fur. It's going by Con-way truck, and is currently in Washington somewhere. It arrived at a Seattle Con-way checkpoint at 3:20 this afternoon.

I'm not sure how this works... I know truckers don't necessarily do just 9-5. But then do they try to time deliveries to arrive during business hours? They know this address is residential, so will they assume they can deliver tonight?

Google tells me Seattle to here is around 6 hours, so if they just came straight here it'd arrive around 9:30 or so tonight, which would be fine with me, but will they? Or should I expect it early tomorrow? I wish I knew!

I would guess that a truck from here to there would likely stop off in Portland, at the very least, to pick up/drop off goods, etc.

My guess is that it'll be there tomorrow, but I don't actually know.

Well, as far as I know this truck isn't carrying anything else. Just my fabric! (All 300 yards of it. I expect it to more or less completely fill the living room, and maybe a good bit of the dining room too.)

oh! wow. I am really bad at imagining sizes, distances, etc., so at first 300 yards didn't sound like much, but now that I am thinking in fabric store mode...

I have a 3 yard piece of wolf like fur that completely fills a underbed storage container. knowing that i still can't imagine how much space 300 yards will take up. Hope you have a spare bedroom for storage Sparky, just in case.

Aww, soon though. I am envious, but I know you paid a lot for the privilege of being surrounded by so much high quality custom order fur. :)
