Wow, I didn't post at all yesterday...

It was a very busy day. Took cat to the vet for a checkup (she has parasites, yay,) got medication, ran errands, sewed, assembled a pegasus for painting, repaired and prepped a broken Windstone dragon, sewed dragon feet, and generally worked. Busybusybusy, and today is more of the same. I expect to finish the first round of dragon feet, and hopefully do some handpaws. Ren's suit is stalled until I can get a zipper for the body and some slippers for the feet. Or toe socks, whichever I can find. Need to get lots of slippers, I have like five sets of outdoor feet coming up. Thankfully cold weather is coming (it's raining now!) so slippers should start being easier to find. And I want to at least get the basecoat on this dragon. Still pondering colors for the pegasus and unicorn. (Any suggestions? I'm thinking realistic, not silly colors.) Need to finish prepping the pegasus, the unicorn is ready to go. Need to get color information from Dexam for the elf guy who is also ready to go...

Lots to do!

Also, Kali was amazingly well-behaved at the vet, and is turning out to be well-behaved about medication too. I needed JJ's help to get her pinned and medicated yesterday, but today she didn't even put up a fight when I did it myself. Yay for kitty. And happily what she has isn't the least bit serious, just something that needs taking care of, so it should be all good.

We've got a bunch of slippers at Kohls. And if you tell me which ones you want and what size and whatnot - I can pick them up for you. In fact, if you don't need them right away, you can get a REALLY good deal about the um...29th/30th.

I should just stock up on some sizes, really, as I use a lot of the things.

Right now I need a 12w pretty soon, and an 11 and an 8 a bit down the road. (Men's.)

If you wouldn't mind picking up a 12 wide for me, that'd be extra spiffy. Just something plain in a dark color, preferrably with a fairly durable type sole. I could probably walk down to your new place from here to pick it up and pay you back, if you like. How much are they?

Oh. *L* Men's sizes. Um. We don't have those in yet. Just women's, and they only go up to a 10 1/2. But I'll keep an eye out, we ought to be getting men's slippers in any day now; there's a truck Sunday.

Probably one of my favorite color combinations on a horse is chesnut with flaxen mane and tail, such as Fausto (http://www.midwestarabian.com/photos/stallions/fausto/IMG_30231.jpg) here. This (http://midwestarabian.com/photos/news/br_fausto.jpg) is the same horse, when he was younger. Paints (http://lesaboteur1.free.fr/galerie/equitalyon/painthorse/painthorse_21.jpg) are beautiful, too, although I dislike that one's pink face.

Hm... I rather like the wild ass markings. I think for the unicorn I may do that. For the pegasus I'm leaning towards dapple gray, actually. It's a good sky kind of color.
