My cat is playing fetch! It's a kind of feline version of it, that involved her mauling, batting about, chasing, and "killing" the pencil I threw before bringing it back, but it's definitely fetch.

My mom's cats played fetch too! Only they preferred coated elastic hair ties. Great for slinging down an entire hallway for them to chase. The oldest cat would go bonkers for those things... he used to try and sneak into bathroom cupboards and drawers to drag out a pile of them. I always worried he'd eat them and choke, so I always kept them in hiding when we weren't supervising. But he seemed to enjoy 'snapping' them more, by holding it with his paw and tugging with his teeth, before letting go. *THWACK!* Stupid cat, gonna hurt yer paw. ;D
On YouTube there's a cat who fetches nickels or some such...
My friend Jilynn's cat does that. They have little cat toys that are similar to hair bands, but plastic and not stretchy. Her cat LOVES playing fetch. It's pretty funny. Though he'll grab it and bring it straight back; he doesn't stop to play with it. Just fetches.
Me-hehehe. I don't have a kitty who fetches, but my neighbour has a dog that purrs. Does that count?
Um, hi, I wandered in off of your topcities website thinger after seeing an ad at the top of my gmail after bitching about needing a tail of Yiffstar. I love convoluted paths. >>
