...how I wish I had more of it!

I really would like to join the unfortunate animal of the month club, but to do so I have to sign up for at least three months (heck, I'd like to sign up for five or six, so I can get one of every kind that I like) but at $50 a month, I don't know about that... I mean on the one hand it's less than most people pay for their cable, but on the other hand, that's $150, ro $300, or whatever, that I could save for vacationing or use to pay off my loan or spend on Windstones.

Yeah, but I want some of the more elaborate stuff. I guess I could do the $40, but the whole art experience of the notes and the wrapping and all really appeals to me.

well, that being said... yeah, the 50 level is the way to go. me, personally, I'd be happy with something that didn't have moving limbs... so the $25 level would work fine for me... assuming I felt the need to have these unfortunate animals... and while I find them hilarious, I'm too practical for owning a conjoined teddy rabbit.

You can do the adopt an animal programs with the World Wildlife fund. Those are only 25 dollars and your money goes to a good cause

While I do think supporting good causes is great (I have a shelter cat, and would never adopt anywhere else,) the unfortunate animal of the month club hasn't got anything to do with that.

I linked to it a few posts ago, it's this gal who makes mutant weird plush animals by cutting up old plushes and sewing the bits together into new things. So you can get six armed teddy bears and two-headed plush bunnies and stuff.

I would love to sign up for that too! When I saw it for the first time (via the link in your journal) I was freaking out. I was like "OMG SQUEEEEEE *pop*" lol

I really want some from the alien collection- I love the bunnies with 3 ears, 3 eyes and six limbs. I'm bring one to work with me every day and set it on my register so customers and coworkers alike could go "WHAT THE HECK IS THAT?!"
