I spent the last hour sewing fursuit legs to feet. (This is harder than it sounds.)

Unfortunately, both legs and feet do have a right and a left, but neither of them have an obvious right and left. Thus it was not until I had completely finished both of them that I realized I had just sewn the right foot to the left leg, and the left foot to the right leg.

*mutters*

ugh... I've had similar problems with sleeves and skirt panels... and corset panels... it's just the bane of sewing I guess. lemme know if you come up with a solution that doesn't involve smudgy chalk.

actually, working on my wedding dress, it became such a problem I actually pinned post-it's to the pieces to label them. It's just that pins can be really nasty little sneaky bitey things. Grr.
