I ran into an actual racist today*.

I didn't think they still existed outside of a few KKK nutjobs.

I mean, I do know lots of people who think that Black, or Hispanic, or whatever culture isn't as good as "white" culture, and that there are problems because of cultural influences, and I know plenty of people who resent other races taking their jobs, and so on and so forth, but I didn't think there was anybody left who geinuinely thought that a person's race has a direct, not-cultural bearing on their ability, intelligence, and worth. But here's this guy, saying that Blacks screw things up solely because they are Black.

Apparently we're not that enlightened yet.

*On IRC, not in "real life."
