Five minutes! I missed it by LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES!!!!!!!! It went for $86, and I could have paid $150! Gah! It would have been mine! FIVE MINUTES!

Unfortunate, but a good reminder about eBay's automatic bid system. It's not just you, and I honestly don't understand why more people don't take advantage of it. Input your maximum bid and let eBay bid for you.

Because if I put in my bid NOW, somebody else can come along and decide to outbid me. It happens ALL the time. It only drives up the price to bid early. But if I wait, then there is a better chance that nobody else will bother to bid high, because the current price is low, and thus I have better odds of outbidding everyone else.

Well, I shared my woes with the collecting community, and it seems that somebody there was thinking about selling the Flion, so I may yet get one. *smiles* I rather appreciate the thought.

Ohhh man.... I feel your pain. I've done that more than a few times. -_- Ah well, call it "sniper's lament"... with a higher rate of success comes the need for extra vigilance, I suppose.
