I can't think of a community to ask this in, so I'm asking it of my friends list, hoping somebody on there knows.

Has anybody ever been a dealer at Anthrocon? Has anybody BEEN to Anthrocon at all? Can you tell me about it? And does anybody know anything about their website and forums? There's a glitch that's not letting me register there, so I can't ask questions, and I REALLY want to know how long it's going to be before I find out if I've got a table there or not.

i went to anthrocon once... but i don't have any good info for you... sorry. i didn't have a dealer table or anything.

I went to anthrocon. I sat at a dealer table. I mostly scared people though.

I do know several dealers though, I'll poke around for ya.

I have some idea, having been a dealer at FC once, and at a couple of non-furry cons, but there are always things peculiar to a specific con, you know? I'd feel better if I had some preparation.

I've been to Anthrocon once and displayed stuff in the art show 3 times. :)

I just send stuff to the art show, which probably isn't much help.
At the conventions I go to, you just hand over your $200-odd and you're in.

What happens if you email them?

Read the whole thing, several times, including the FAQ. Sent in my application on the very day of, Nov 13, and read the whole packet and everything.

Haven't heard back, gotten no response to my emails. Seeing as how it's been more than a month now, I'm starting to wonder what's taking so long.

Looks like it just took them a bit to get around to it. Got a reply just a bit ago! They're apparently still sorting out folks, and say that they'll know for sure if I've got booth space or not after New Year's.
