Gray bunny

It’s odd how these things seem to travel in little clumps. I’ve never done a rabbit before, unless you count the Drabbit, but this month I had TWO bunny suits to make! This guy, a gray partial bunny, was finished today, and is going out today as he’s all paid up.

He’s a slightly more toony style than my usual, though not overly so.

And as I’m sure you’ll be interested to know, Saito, yours will look a little like this, but I think I’d like the thin the cheeks down just a touch, and of course it’ll have flopped over poseable ears, which will be a little larger than this guy’s, and hair fluff, and more white, with brown instead of gray, and so on. The eyes are a slightly different shape too, but are made the same way, with the “follow me” effect. Though I really wish I could figure out how to get the effect to work without the very slight cross-eyed look from the front. Need to fiddle some more. (And while I’m thinking about it... do you like or not like the buck teeth? I’m thinking of leaving them off yours, but I’m not sure.)

I do think I have the eye thing licked. But it's hard to be sure. This guy didn't look cross-eyed until after I put the fur on.

The ears will definitely be longer on yours. And thanks for letting me know on the teeth.

oh btw I have to say I realy like how the eyes are coming along, its looks very very nice and not like a glass bulb effect.

oh and will mine have the forhead protrude out that much? or will it be somewhat like the drabbit forhead

Drabbit forhead actually sticks out further than that! You just can't tell because it has HUGE eyebrows with spikes that overwhelm the forhead. I can thin yours down a bit if you like.

Ah, it's hard to tell in photos. The drabbit head is shaped very differently from this head, they're not built on the same kind of frame at all.

And thanks! I'll probably put up photos of the frame tomorrow, and then fur it the day after.
