I found them! They don't have flames, and are somewhat simplified, but they're the same general style as the Boots Of Doom! Aidan is happy. The only hangup is the price, with shipping they'll be $63! The problem is that, as I well know, in most small-market items the cost isn't mostly materials, it's mostly labor. And it takes almost as long to sew something for a doll scale as it does to sew it for a human scale. Sure, you seams are smaller, but there are just as many of them, and the fiddly bits are even fiddlier (ha, I made a new word!) at that scale, so some things can take ever longer. That means that 1/3 scale clothes aren't that much cheaper than clothes for me!

The guy selling the boots has three, so I'll be just keeping an eye on it... if he gets down to one, I may go ahead and buy them, I don't see them available anywhere else. Otherwise I wait until finances are a bit better.
