bladesparkFor a while now I've been bothered by the fact that I can't wear a collar all the time. My mother has issues with them, and I just can't cope with arguing all the time over it.
Anyhow, the other day, while sitting in chruch, ironically enough, in idea came to me. Chokers are quite the in thing right now, and there isn't that much difference between a small, decorative collar and a choker. So I bought some supplies and made a nifty little choker with a tiny o-ring on it. It looks like jewelry, and so far Mom has had no objections.
Now I'm making a few other styles, including one with a little key instead of an o-ring and a plain one out of black ribbon that I can wear when I'm doing hard work.
And in other news, my sewing is lousy. It's a good thing I can arrange things so that the stiches are in the back...
