Harry Potter, Star Wars, and metaphysics.

I've linked a joke comparing Harry Potter with Star Wars. Now I've found a serious speech (from a Christian Minister, no less!) contrasting them, in terms of modern society, metaphysics, and Christian living. And wow, I am very impressed. There's some good thoughts here. I don't think he's onto the "real meaning of Harry Potter" or anything, the "real meaning" of it is that it's a story, some good entertainment. But the best stories always do have something philosophical you can get from them.
