Well, I thought my quiz about poads would remain purely an academic issue for quite some time.
But I just found out that they have already cast a batch of poads, and are painting them right now! Of course painting something with a complex marking pattern like that takes time, so they're not ready for sale yet. But there will be poads!
I don't know what the price will be. The $50 I used in my quiz was the minimum I thought they might sell for, but the actual price is probably going to be more like $100, dunno, nobody's given any pricing information on them yet.
However, for those of you who were all "must have!" about the poads, I thought I'd give you an update, and I shall continue to post poad information here as I get it. When they come out for sale, I'll see what I can do to hook you folks up, as the first batches are probably going to be available only to those in the know. (And the eary batches are likely to be limited edition colors, or at least what Windstone calls "limited production" which means they'll always make them a few at a time, and sell them direct, and won't sell them in bulk to retailers.)
