Life isn't fair. The cry of "but that's not fair" is for babies. Because there is NO way to be "fair" to everyone. To give to one person what he feels he deserves, you must take away from another.

And I am SICK to death of hearing people whine and wail that things aren't fair.

I always prefer "cope!" over "deal!" because the latter can be interpreted as "do something about it." You cope, though, with things you can do nothing about.

But I definitely agree with the substance of your post. Shit happens. Sometimes it'll happen to you. Part of life is learning how to dodge, and part of life is learning how to wash it off and keep moving forward. People who whine about it just need a swift kick.

tell me about it. *eyeroll* my bro used to say he would split things with me. for example...say he makes a box of mac and cheese....he tells me he wants to split it with me. ok, fine by me. but then he gets 2 bowls of different sizes and shapes and asks ME to divide it. i told him id rather he did it because if I do it, itll be deemed unfair. he insists. so i divide it...equally.

what does he do? gets pissed off and storms off wailing about how unfair it is. *shakes head* theres no winning.
