Amusing things.

I was first amused to find that the stumble firefox plugin has a category for Mormon stuff. Of course I checked it. Mostly I've bumped into official church stuff, odd little forums, and pictures of temples. Today though, I was further amused when I found the Five Kinds of Mormon.

This is totally true.

I don't think anybody who knows me will have any doubt which kind I am.

I think there are a lot more Genuine Mormons than the author lets on. I know tons in my current ward, and I've had other really great wards too.
And I'm still kinda struggling to wrap my head around the Nazi Mormon. While I was reading it, I was like "well maybe that sounds like So-and-so" but then the very next sentence would make me change my mind. I guess I just don't know any.

Well, it is a joke. And like most jokes, it exaggerates, so that it's funnier.

I'm saying even still. Having maybe most of my ward as Genuine Mormons, the exaggeration doesn't really strike that "it's funny cuz it's true" thing for me.
I've definitely been in places that made me feel that way though.

There used to be Mormons in my neighborhood (and I have no idea why everybody knew they were...) back when I was in elementary school. Even with this being a joke, as soon as the word "Soap" came into play under the Nazi Mormons, I knew exactly what type they were....

*laughs* Every group has it's crazies. (And everybody knows when they know a Mormon. We tend to be rather vocal about our religion.)
