This may or may not be TMI for some of you, but it seems I might be developing a bladder infection. Symptoms match up, though they're mild at the moment. I really do not need this. I SO do not need this! Augh!

Sorry to hear you have a new problem now in addition to the rest. :\

If you like and can drink cranberry juice (the pure stuff, not a 'beverage' or 'drink') try to get some of that into you. Or cranberry extract capsules. Cranberries can help with urinary tract infections (even though they're not positive as to why). And they taste good too. ^_-

Good luck on the rest of your woes. *hugs!* Don't worry about gray hair too much... I had my first at about 26.

I can vouch for this, it works well. All hail the great and powerful cranberry!

cranberry is great--also, any acidic foods, particularly lemons, tomatoes. the bacteria that causes UTI does not like acid at all, and you can often flush it out with loads of fluids and plenty of acidic stuff without having to resort to often pricey antibiotics. :)
So, load up on some citrus, cut the sugar out (the bacteria flourish in it), have some tomato sauce and a cold cranberry juice on ice and take it easy for a bit. :)

I have stomach troubles though. If I load up on acid, I'm going to make myself sick.

Shame. :/ well, at the very least, cut the sugars out. having sugar in your urine will feed the bacteria, and they need no help. :) if you can eat an orange now and again, or have some marinara on your dinner, do.

Yeah, I have cut sugars. *nods* Am taking moderate amounts of acidic stuff and cranberry juice, I just can't get carried away with it. Am also drinking nettle tea, which somebody told me helps, and I figure it can't hurt. Tea drinking is quite pleasant in any case. Although nettle tea tastes pretty much like grass.
