Here's some progress photos on this month's two major projects.


This one is a border collie/fox cross. I think already I've got a pretty good dog/fox shape going, leaning towards fox, I think. (I hope!) Just needs ears, fur, and in this case a wig.


And something new for me, an equine. A slightly toony pony that's really coming along nicely so far. The jaw here does actually move, but only so it can be posed open for better airflow, I couldn't think of a way to hinge it to the wearer's jaw, because a horse's head is so long, and the open mouth space so small, to do it right I'd have to skin it in something very elastic, and that's just not happening.

Anyway, yeah, looks like the horse is turning out fabulously.

Date: 2007-04-24 07:17 am (UTC)(And yes, so many animated/cgi horses just move wrong and it's annoying! CG animals in general don't usually move right. They just let the torso go along level while the legs flail under it, and no animal moves like that!)
