Wow, it's vehement and rather more... enraged than I would express but it's a quality rant.

I can't say I disagree with it either, except that it is overly simplistic. If its mutually consensual for all the parties involved (i.e. they consent and are CAPABLE of consenting) then I put it firmly in the category of not anyone else's business. I certainly don't see why anyone else should have the right to bind or control another's sex life.

And double amen on the sexuality thing - its amazing how people treat you as a completely different species because of your sexuality.

Awesome. And I pretty much agree with him (although I'd dispute that "harming people is wrong" is anything other than a moral stance...).

Mm-hmm. That's a good starting point for the United States to land at - if they start from the idea that MYOB is the default action, and that only if it causes harm, then they should care about it, there'd be a lot less sexual frustration, tension, and hiding in general. Then they can debate specifics.
