bladesparkToday was much better than yesterday.
Firstly, I woke up to the arrival of a small yet strangely heavy package from Canada. I puzzled over it for a bit, then recognized the name on it, and tore it open. kainhighwind_dr is the most awesome and spiffy person ever. I have Boost bars. I have mint Aeros. I have penguins and digestive biscuits! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I am eating a Flake right this very moment. *purrrs*
Also, I got ponies in the mail. My Clever Clover arrived. And he proved to come complete with the most gay hat and sunglasses combo I've ever seen. And I don't mean gay in the (idiotic) derogative sense, I mean literally gay. I suppose it's hanging around with all those lesbian pony girls, or something. *grins* Also I got a baby pony from the summer themed baby swap I entered. I said I didn't want pink frilly stuff, as my requirement for the swap, but I was still afraid I was going to get something atrocious. But she is adorable! She is ladybug themed, and has red and black hair. Must take photos. I will do a pony photo shoot sometime soon. Maybe after Crystal's Marine pony's hair is set, I cut and styled it today, so it'll be done this evening. (I cut it medium short, and it looked totally dippy, so I went ahead with the buzz cut.)
Also, also, today on the third try I perfected the Noodles and Company Pasta Fresca recipe! (The previous tries were last week, and were edible, just not quite right.) So now I can have my Noodles fix any time I need. Pasta Fresca is my favorite there too. Although I really wish I could find the rest of their pasta recipes, especially their pesto. Pestos are very hit or miss with me, I love some and hate others. This was a love one. And a pesto sauce is such a pain to make that I don't want to try a recipe for one unless I'm sure it'll be worth the effort.
But anyhow, today is good! And hey, yesterday I went from level 5 to level 18 in Diablo II, so it's not as though that was a complete loss either. *grin*
