bladesparkMost of you reading probably don't care, but yesterday I got two ponies in the mail, and one of them was Baby Brother Apple Delight, who is dang hard to find, and who completes my Apple Delight family, while the other was the American June Birthflower pony. I'd like to get the international version as well, but those are rare and expensive. The more than a hundred dollars kind of expensive, and while I don't mind paying a fair bit for an item that I know is likely to appreciate in value, it's still more than my nerves or budget can take to spend anything over $50 on a "toy" just now. (Especially in this case, as of course the international June pony is even more pink than the US version! It figures. I like roses, but why did it have to be pink roses?)
Anyhow, they are spiffy, and I like them. I'm actually not too far from finishing my collection, but of course at this point only the really rare stuff is left to get, so from here on it's both harder and more expensive.
Edit: Seems I'm not as close to finishing the collection as I thought. I ran into a discussion of foreign boy variants, and there were half a dozen mentioned that I hadn't known about. And they're ridiculously rare, the boys are always moreso than the girl ponies, and then you add in the overseas bits, and, well... Plus I went and added those to my want list, and counted what's left on it while I was at it, and there were more than I'd thought! Anyhow, I have 39 left to get, almost all at least somewhat rare and hard to find, so things are going to be interesting. I've gotten 39 ponies so far, plus my original four. So I'm halfway through, in numbers.

But I can't think of any collecting scheme that really interests me. Maybe I'll just stop there. Dunno. I'll have to think about it some, I suppose. Though I do wish Hasbro would do a few G3 boys! Oh well.

it doesnt even matter which one XD i just want one! lol even if i get one totally flat, id be happy to restuff it myself XD
i know eventually ill be able to get one. itll just take like, YEARS! XD
