Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh
Oct. 13th, 2007 12:34 pmI feel like night of the living dead.
I am sick. Siiiiiiiiicksicksick. I thought maybe I was just having an allergic reaction to something, because JJ's been having a rather violent allergic reaction to the field burning lately, and my eyes were all itchy, which is usually a sign of an allergy, not a cold. But now my throat is sore and swollen, and that's usually a sign of a cold. Also my sinuses are stuffed up, my nose is running, and I keep sneezing. Bleah. I am taking oodles of vitamin C, and I shall probably have soup for lunch/breakfast/whatever today. (I only just now got up, I think I slept eleven hours at least.)
I also had a really disturbing almost-nightmare. JJ and myself, and two other guys who I think were boardies, not sure they were kind of vague the way background characters in dreams often are, were out somewhere a very long way from home, and we were trying to get back. There was a train that ran from where we were to where we were going, but we didn't have money for tickets. JJ assured me that when he was a kid he used to sneak on the back car all the time, so we decided to try and stow away. For some reason we had Kali and Tari with us, but I didn't have their carriers, so they were running around loose in the train car, and getting into places. And somebody saw them and called the Train Police, and they came and caught us. They made me pay for how far I'd ridden on the train, and while I was doing that, the guys snuck off without paying at all!
So there I was, all stranded, and since I didn't have leashes or carriers the cats had run away while I was paying too, and I had to stay there to try and find them, so I couldn't catch up with the guys. I found Kali, but I looked and looked and looked and couldn't find Tari, which was when it turned into an almost-nightmare. I was so freaked out! I finally decided that JJ must have carried off Tari when he went, or else she was just so lost that I'd never find her at all, and so I started walking home, carrying Kali. And it was a looooooooooong walk, though the countryside was very nice. I met two hikers who showed me the trail to follow that would lead where I was going. But the whole time I was just worried sick about Tari, so I couldn't enjoy it at all.
Then I woke up, and Tari was curled up on the bed by my feet. Whew!

Date: 2007-10-13 08:09 pm (UTC)I had a dream I was stranded in some sort of strange motel with a pair of big oleanders out front that were fruiting 3-ft long plantains. I was 7 months pregnant and utterly alone and I was somehow put in the position of having to tell my dad i was pregnant, over the phone. He told me he never wanted to speak to me again. x_x
