My piano arrived today.
I sat down and played for maybe half an hour. I'm rusty, but it looks like I'll be able to blow the rust off fairly quickly. Unfortunately, while getting my fingers back up to speed may not take too long, getting them up to strength might. Typing uses different muscles, and my hands are sore and tired after just half an hour. But give it a few weeks, maybe a month or so, and I should be fully back in the groove.
Also, I have played Fur Elise, so the new piano is properly christened. *grins* All pianos get Fur Elise played on them at some point, and all pianists play it at some point.
