My venus fly trap has eaten two crickets. This amuses me probably more than it should. But it's a plant that eats animals. How cool is that?! Also, it's a plant that, unlike my aloe, actually requires care and attention, and I've had it for a month-ish now and haven't killed it. That's quite an accomplishment.

Well, it's on the dry side for them here too, I have mine in a home made terrarium of sorts, made from a 2 liter bottle.
