Oh my gosh. You are evil. This all I need, another artist I want to commission something from! I am poor, I cannot do this! :P

Aww, nothing I want myself. How about I commission you for some ears and a tail instead and PayPal you money for them? Something to have prior to FC, unless ears/tails would be too hard to get done by then? If possible, done by the beginning of December would be great, actually. Something more to wear on PTBATTD (Dec 8th). :D

Oh heavens, I could get ears and a tail done before FC! Before Christmas! Before the start of December, no problem! Before anything but Halloween, my last shipment of stuff for that went out last week.

Anyhow, let me know what sort of tail/ears you're after.

I'm actually looking for a 3.5-4 foot long tail, with long white fur that I'm pretty sure would have to be airbrushed. I'm wanting strips around it of the black portions of snow leopard rosettes on it, and then a solid black tailtip. Think: Raccoon tail markings, but with the spots in the place the solid black stripes would be, and otherwise pure white in between those areas, with the final area just being completely black. Maybe I should make a drawing of some kind, would that help you? For ears, just large snow leopard ears on a headband, nothing nearly as fancy as the tail. ^^

A drawing would be fabulous. Airbrush is probably the way to go, given how you describe this. Or possibly dye painting, I'm experimenting with that right now. It's crisper than airbrush, but otherwise give a similar effect.

Anyhow! Price range we'd be talking something around $100 for the tail. Ears are $20. Is that within your budget?

Any photos floating around of the results of the two so I could take a look? If it's better I would probably prefer the dye painting, if it can be done for odd shapes like leopard spots get into. How is the wear on the end results for both methods in your experience from normal handling?

This should definitely be within my budget. Still looking at the 1st of December, or would something complicated like this take longer?

1st of December should be fine.

I have photos of airbrush, but the only pics I have of the dye painting thing are from the guy I got the idea from, I haven't got any of my own work.

Dye painting sounds like the better option in general. Less likely to wear off of the fur anytime soon, too. Not that I've seen anything like that on your airbrushed ones, it just seems like it might happen!

I'll throw together a diagram at least and throw it up, should be able to get that tonight before I sleep. And yes, 120 USD will be fine. How do you want to handle payment for this: all of it now, or how much when? And are they any other details you would like, or questions about it?

Tail! I managed to find an image I could grab rosettes from, so it's actually all pretty and stuff. Let me know if you have trouble loading it. Not wanting that exact pattern, and please put it all the way around the tail too, not just on the top/sides?

Ah. I can do that, no problem! Anyhow, I have paypal. You can send it half at a time, or all at once, whatever you like, really. Paypal address is spark.costumes@gmail.com Or would you prefer to pay by check?

You should have been PayPal'd by me, let me know if there's any trouble. And please, definitely ask any questions you might have! ^^

Yup, I got your payment. I think the only question I have is when you say like a raccoon, you just mean striped like a raccoon, and not shaped fat like a raccoon, yes? The drawing is shaped like a snow leopard, so I assume so.

Shaped like a snow leopard, yes, not fat like a raccoon. As far as staying true to the design otherwise, don't bother too much, that's mostly for general idea. Do what looks good to you, as far as spacing and such. You likely have actual experience with things where as I just slapped something together in a drawing program.
