I have a nemesis!

bladesparkWhat is a nemesis? Well, it's an arch enemy. It's a person you regularly clash with. It is, in many cases, somebody you can't stand one bit, but respect all the same.

grrrowly. I can't stand her, she drive me crazy, she rubs me the wrong way and annoys the heck out of me. She's rude and scarcastic and critical of others, doesn't take criticism of herself well, and gets into arguments easily, and wants to have the last word a lot. Which, if you think about it, sounds rather familiar, because I do all the same things! (I just tend to do them on my journal, in private, while she does them out in communities.) Anyhow, we've had quite a few clashes now, and we snark and snipe at each other every so often. But all the same I respect her a lot. She hasn't done any hypocritical, weasely, dishonest stuff that loses my respect. I just can't stand her, that's all!

Date: 2007-10-27 03:27 pm (UTC)I guess its just that all too often I have seen simple healthy competiton with a nemesis transform into something a bit more ugly. I think that is where a lot of the drama can start with people. Thats what I meant by you have the power to change things since I know that you do not like drama so much. Healthy competition = fun ; silly I'm better than you drama = none.
