At the museum where I work, the back area is big, dark, and full of old exhibits. Kinda creepy. Well, the janitor's closet is also back there, so at least once a day somebody has to venture back to put the old rags in a bin and grab new ones, so we can clean the museum.
I tend to volunteer to do this. I kinda like the back spaces. They're neat. (Though the wolf skin is gone now. Put into some box until we can use it in the exhibit on fur trappers... right now it won't fit. *sniffle*) So tonight I was, as usual, making my way back to the closet, when the floor manager came by. I was whistling, or else I think I'd probably have scared the living daylights out of him, but anyhow, he turned around and saw me and asked what I was doing back there.
I said "I'm in my natural habitat, lurking in the dark."
His response? "That's kinky."
He he he.
