My guardian dragon came in the mail today.
In pieces.
Just three pices, but I can't find one of them, and the other has screwed up the armature when it broke loose, so I'm not sure it's even possible to repair.
I guess you get what you pay for after all. That was incredibly cheap for how pretty it was, but the inexperience that didn't show up in the sculpting showed up in the packaging.
It was packed in shredded paper, which is one of the WORST packing materials for truly delicate objects. Shredded paper is fine for something fairly robust that you just don't want to have actively rattling loose, but if you're shipping something that is really, honestly breakable, NEVER ship in shredded paper. (And always double box, and never ship two items inside the same inner box, but she did those things, they just weren't enough to make up for the shredded paper.)
I was so excited to get it, and now I'm just depressed.
