You can all thank Harli, who insisted that I needed to take photos of the body suit. I was going to just wait until the whole thing is done.

Thank you, Harli. That's a really neat body suit. It'll only get better when it's finished.

It's all one piece? Cool!
Sounds like a complicated pattern o_o

The hands and feet are separate pieces, actually. If you look very closely you can see where the sleeve of the body is tucked into the hand, about four inches up from the wrist. The legs likewise tuck into the feet, though I need to extend the feet just a little, if I move around too much I can show ankle.

You are ridiculously good at this.

Have you ever thought about doing professional costume design for theatre?

Nobody needs mascots for theaters, and I suck at clothing. Or at least am not better at it than any random person who knows how to use a sewing machine. *shrug* I have thought about it, but I really can't imagine a circumstance where they'd want to hire somebody who can only do animals.

That looks awesome! I love the patterning you managed, and the fit looks wonderful. ^^

Expect hugs, if they'd not be uncomfortable to receive!

Those splotches must have taken a while. I especially like the stripy orange fur. The finished suit is going to be great!

Oh, and I realised... I was an idiot and never mailed you back about that blue fur. Is it in the mail at the moment?

It is, yes.

And like a spaz, I mailed it out with a huge lot of things going out for Christmas... and forgot to ask for a tracking number on it. *facepalms* But since there's no strike on, hopefully it will get there all right.

So nicely fitted! I'll be looking forward to seeing this one completed!

Well, the benefits of making them for yourself. It's very easy to fit. *grin* Though most of the time I've done okay fitting them to others. With one or two minor exceptions.
