High notes and fox's heads.
Jun. 9th, 2002 10:24 pmSo today was pretty calm and uneventful. Church, choir, the usual. We're getting ready for the Fourth of July in choir and we're going to sing Battle Hymn of the Republic, the fun version with the Organ trumpet effects and the really, really high soprano note at the end. (Guess who gets to try and squeak that out? Yep, me.) So choir practice today was a ton of fun, he he.
What else did I do today? Oh, I helped my sister make beads out of sculpy for Girl's Camp. She's a camp leader this year, and it's next week, so she's been doing all kinds of stuff. The cool bit about that is we had enough sculpy left for me to do something myself. I couldn't think what to do. I've got a bead of stuff the size of a small marble, so I can't exactly do great sculpture. Then the idea hit me... so I went with it, and when all was done I had a cute little fox's head charm. I'll find something or other to string it on, once I've finished painting it. It came out pretty well. Wish I had more sculpy... I could make a set.
