I have two sets of photos today. One of prosthetic wolf ears I made, and one of a sculpture I commissioned.

I bought a set of large prosthetic elf ears to base these on, I just furred them, basically. I look kind of like a dork, mostly because I was taking the photos myself, by holding the camera up facing me, so my concentration was on that, not on looking pleasant.

This is full of win and awesome. Really it is! Synfony has done a sculpture of SPark, which I really ought to take photos of and post here, but it's in a box right now, and given the nearness of the move, I don't want to unbox it, just to rebox it again, really. Plus it needs minor repairs, it had a rough trip to me. But anyhow, this new sculpture rocks even more than the previous one. As you can see, it currently resides on JJ's shelf of geekery.

Syn is, I believe, taking commissions. I can put anybody who wants to get one in touch with her. :)

That's an awesome JJ. And it's good to see that elven ears can be repurposed. How well do they fit on your ears? Pinch any?

The base is latex, so they're soft and squishy. No pinching. They're kind of a hassle to get on over your ears, but once they're on they're nicely comfy.
