I got some new Tissavel fur samples in today. They are amazing. And amazingly expensive, but worth every cent. I love that stuff so much, I wish I got to work with it more often. And soembody needs to commission me to make something from their french blue ermine. Holy crap that stuff is soft. I have no words for how soft it is. ZOMG. I could buy a yard of it just to roll around naked on it, and it would almost be worth the cost. (Pervs. Quit picturing that.) It is softer than most real furs I've touched, is how soft it is. It is as soft as real chinchilla. As soft as real rabbit, but fluffier. Sooooooooooooooooo soft. *ahem* Anyhow, maybe someday I'll pick up half a yard and make some plushes from it, or something. Mmmmmmmmmsosoft.

.... well my horse is... but I dunno if faux fur would work for a plush horse character

Some of the sleeker furs they have would be fine for a horse, but the ermine is a little too fluffy, I think! You'd look like a shetland in winter and then some.

Not quite the right shade of blue for me, but omg, that is SO soft and snuggly looking. If I could afford it, I'd just have a blanket made out of it.
