Swatch pillow! Made from the old samples of Tissavel fabric, which I don't need now that I have my new sample cards, but couldn't bear to throw away, because they're way too nice.
Been browsing links of links of links and found myself here, but I must say, that is an AWESOME idea. I've been wondering what sort of thing I could do with my bins of tiny fur scraps. Way cool!
*is imainging a big patchwork blanket, maybe with fleece on one side and fur on the other...think it would work best with all the fur the same length though*
I had a plan to make myself a fur patchwork for the longest time. But I never have time for it. :P I totally would if somebody commissioned me. But of course it's never cheap.
I've been telling Tech that I was planning on making a quilt out of my fur swatches (as I get them). It's nice to know I wasn't the only one who thought of putting them to such a cuddly use. Those pillows look like the perfect thing on a cold day or just when you need something furry to snuggle.
Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with this one. :) (Just one pillow, two views of it.) I fully intend to make another one, the next time I get a fresh swatch batch!
