Angst. I hate that word, mostly because I never use it, so I'm not sure what it means. ;-) And since I really doubt that you are referring to the abbreviation for the angstrom, it must be this:

n : an acute but unspecific feeling of anxiety; usually reserved for philosophical anxiety about the world or about personal freedom

You're, like, one of the most liberated people I know. :-) Both inwardly and outwardly. :-) But, okay. Anxiety. No fun, that. So tell us about your trip! Describe! Recount! You'll make me jealous, but that's why I bought my new books on poker math.

Heh. Some of the details are censored. As for the rest... *shrug* I didn't really intend to write up anything about it. I'm lazy that way. It was fun, full of wildlife and stupid tourists, alternately wet and cold and hot and dry, and unexpectedly stopped off in Las Vegas. (No, not to elope. Just because.) That more or less sums it up.

Oh, and angst does indeed mean what you're saying there, but among the specific community to which most of my live journal friends belong, it has a subtext involving bad poetry, moping around, whimpering, whining, and making pathetic lj posts.

And those, in turn, are just common symptoms of angst (http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=angst). I'd probably find more diplomatic ways to say that if it weren't so late and I weren't so tired, but dictionaries are a really good way to expand your vocabulary...;)
