A watercolor experiment that turned out fairly well. Though doing black animals is a PAIN, and I added to the pain by actually doing the spots on the panther. And yes they really do have spots, they're just black on black.

holy crap, nice! That looks really good, the cliff looks really nice. i also like the subtle detail in the sky. and yes, black is pain, i think you pulled it off pretty nicely though.I think the (ocelot?) looks a littl flat compared to the panther, maybe a little shadow on the underside of the body and the bottom of the wings would round hi8m/her out a bit more?
